Dr. Chris Bowen
Dr. Christopher Bowen is Founder and Senior Pastor. Called by God at the age of seven to preach the Gospel, he did not begin to fulfill the call until he was fifteen. After graduating high school in South Charleston, Ohio, Pastor Chris attended Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1987. He met his wife, Kathy while at Beulah Heights and they married in 1985. From there, God launched them into the ministry together. Pastor Michael Thomas
Michael was born and raised in the city of Atlanta. He was educated in the Atlanta public school district and Beulah Heights Bible College. He answered his call to ministry at age 18. He has always had a burden to see youth rise to their potential. In 2009 he married Terella Thomas. He has been a member of Living Faith Tabernacle since 1991. After many years of diligent service God saw fit to elevate him to become the LFT Youth Pastor in 2003. Under his leadership, the youth department has grown from 125 to 300. He oversees and is responsible for over 300 youth in the ministry. Pastor Mike is well respected and looked up to by youth. Michael has a vast amount of experience of working with youth. Because of his love for youth, he has a great vision for the community of Forest Park. Michael has organized many youth camps, sporting events, and senior programs.

Pastor Angela Batemon
Angela Batemon was born in Mobile, Alabama. Her family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1970. In 1990, Angela Batemon accepted her walk with the Lord; she faithfully attended Spirit of Life C.O.G.I.C., where she worked diligently teaching adult Sunday School, working with the children’s ministry and preaching the word of God, under the leadership of Pastor Billy Bowers. Kathy Bowen - Rising Son Academy Director
Kathy was born and raised in southwestern, Michigan . She lived there until the Lord called her to Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta . It was there that she met her soul mate, Pastor Chris Bowen. Kathy graduated from Beulah Heights Bible College in 1999 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Biblical Studies. God launched Kathy into fulltime ministry in 1990 when they began the Living Tabernacle Church with only 26 members. Kathy is an anointed writer and serves as the editor for Living Faith. Not only is she the first lady, but she is the receptionist, worship leader and choir member. Kathy has been working with children since 1998, where she was employed by KinderCare as a phonics teacher. She obtained her Child Development Association Certificate in 2002. She is a licensed minister with the LFMF. Kathy is the proud mother of three sons Nathan , Stevan and Caleb.

Pastor Jermaine Lane, Youth Pastor
Innovative, Anointed and Radical are just a few words to describe our Youth Pastor Jermaine Lane. He was baptized at the age of 12, licensed at 22 and ordained at 31. He brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and energy to the position as the Youth Pastor. Pastor Lane was raised in Naylor, Georgia, and he graduated from Lowndes High School. He also matriculated his Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Beacon University, in Columbus, Georgia. He is the proud parent of Jamaal and Jacary Lane.
Merium Leverett - Assistant to Senior Pastor/Office Manager
Merium is the administrative assistant to the Pastoral Staff of the church. She has been a part of the staff of Living Faith since 1999. Merium holds a BAS degree in Organization Leadership from Mercer University and her M.A. Degree from Regent University in Organizational Leadership & Management. Her husband Michael and her have been married for 29 years and have three children: Benjamin, ; Michelle and Brittany . In addition to her duties as administrative assistant, she owns an accounting service in Stockbridge and is working on her doctorate of Strategic Leadership at Regent University. Have a question?
