Dr. Christopher Bowen is Founder of Living Faith Tabernacles.

He was born and raised in South Charleston, Ohio, then moved

to Atlanta after graduating high school to attend Beulah Heights

University. He received his Bachelor’s degree there in 1987.

In 1990, Pastor Chris founded Living Faith Tabernacle in a small

hotel room with 15 members. The ministry has grown at a

phenomenal rate and after the seventh building project, the

sanctuary on Old Dixie

Highway in Forest Park, Georgia now seats 1,300 people. The

church hosts an 8AM and 11AM service each Sunday and holds

weekly Bible studies and youth services on Wednesdays.

Dr. Bowen continued his education, receiving his Master’s degree

in Leadership Development at Southwestern Christian University in

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and his Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral

Care and Counseling from Oral Roberts University in April 2011.

Dr. Bowen is a full time professor at Beulah Heights University,

where he instructs both Success for Life and Marriage and Family classes. He is the Director of Dream Release Coaching, a motivational speaker, and travels internationally to speak on topics such as time management, body language comunication, and financial freedom. In addition to operating in leadership of ministries, he is also a business owner and entrepreneur.

In 2017, Dr. Bowen felt the pull of God to venture into other areas od traveling ministry. He passed the mantle of Senior Pastor of LFT to Pastor Jeremy Tuck. Dr. Bowen feels that although his time as senior pastor is over that his life in ministry is far from done.

Dr. Bowen has authored many books. His newest release is entitled,“Beyond Five Star Quality.” In this book, he informs us how to provide greater excellence and service to our personal and business lives, businesses, and or churches.  Dr. Bowen resides in Jonesboro, GA with his wife, Kathy.  He is the proud father of 2 sons, and is a first time grandfather.
